First Grade Newsletter
For the Week of August 20, 2025
A Note From Mrs. French
Welcome to 1st Grade! Thank you for your partnership as we work together to make this a positive and productive school year. Together, we will create a wonderful learning experience for your child so he/she will continue to grow and develop the skills and mindset for a life AND love of learning.
Please send in a spill-proof water bottle labeled with your child's name. We only drink water in the classroom.
Students will have the opportunity to eat a small snack each afternoon. Healthy snacks that have minimal cleanup are best! Acceptable snacks include: crackers, pretzels, cereal, string cheese, raisins, fruit or veggies, etc... Please note that peanut butter and candy are not permitted. Snacks should not require any sort of utensil (spoon, fork) and need to be eaten within a few minutes.
Headphones are required for students to use a chromebook. I do not have any headphones available for students to borrow.
It was nice to meet so many of you at the Meet and Greet on Monday. I am looking forward to a great school year together!
