Dear Families,
After a full week of snow days, we are looking forward to welcoming our students back to school! Please don’t worry, our teachers are ready, prepared, and genuinely excited to have students back in the building and jump right into all the learning ahead.
As we return, we will continue wrapping up MAP assessments this week. Please be sure your student’s Chromebook is fully charged each evening so they are ready for the school day.
Congratulations to our orchestra students for a job well done at the OMEA competition! We are so proud of your hard work and talent! 🎶👏
Best of luck as well to all of our student-athletes who will be competing in tournaments this weekend. We are cheering you on!
Thank you for your continued support and flexibility during this winter weather. We can’t wait to see our students back and learning together again.

Sells offers OhioHealth school-based clinic
We aim to improve the health of Dublin students by offering easy and convenient access to health care within the school. The goal of our school-based clinic is to keep students healthy, reduce school absences and promote learning and development so students can achieve their full potential. OhioHealth’s school-based health clinic provides preventive services including vaccinations, well-child visits and sports physicals for students.
To schedule an appointment, call 614-533-KIDS (5437) or contact your school nurse. The child’s parent/guardian must provide consent via the Authorization to Treat Form for the child to be seen by the doctor.
Appointments are available during school hours. Parents/guardians are always welcome, but don’t need to be present. A doctor may reach out to you after the visit if needed. We will give your child a reminder card for any recommended follow-ups or vaccines.
8th Grade Parents! It's not too late to sign up for the Washington DC Trip!

PTO 26 - 27
Come join us!!!
Even though we still have a few months left in the 2025-26 school year, we're starting to look ahead and will have MANY opportunities for parents to be involved next year.
The PTO exists to serve the incredible staff and students of Sells. To make the impact that we feel they deserve, WE NEED YOU!
Do you have a friend that you would like to serve with? We'd love to make you co-chairs! Start thinking about it and talking to your friends now! Questions? Email us at: sellsmiddleschoolpto@gmail.com
Want to help??
Help us Fund the FUN! Each year the PTO does things like feed teachers, host (free!) events for students, provide teacher grants, and so much more. BUT we can't do it without you! Your financial support (as well as signing up - and following through on your signup - to bring donations) allows us do to these things! Without you, none of the above can happen. If you can't make a donation, who do you know that might be able to? Do you know any businesses that might like to make a donation? We will definitely give them recognition! If you use Venmo, you can make a donation to @SellsMSPTO.
Follow us on Facebook: www.facebook.com/groups/sellsmspto for up-to-date information about everything that we have going on and how you can get involved!
DCS News
Snow Day Details
There is no longer a five-day calamity rule in Ohio. The Ohio Department of Education and Workforce sets minimum instructional hour requirements, and Dublin City Schools intentionally builds additional hours into the school year calendar in anticipation of inclement weather. Dublin City Schools has been closed six days this year (one day in December and five days in January), and even with those closures, the district remains well above the state minimum instructional hours. Hours missed above the required minimum do not need to be made up, and Dublin City Schools does not anticipate needing to extend the school year or make up missed time.

Track SnowGo Progress
After this weekend’s significant snowfall, our SnowGo Warriors continue making strong progress clearing residential areas. With the freezing temperatures this week, residents should expect plowed roads in neighborhoods, but hard-packed snow from the plows will remain. Crews will begin to treat these areas as soon as temperatures rise. Thank you, Dublin, for your continued patience and understanding! SnowGo updates: http://dublinohiousa.gov/snowgo
