Teacher Appreciation
September 2025
Hello Friends,
Football season is underway, and I wanted to share a fun idea! Last year for Homecoming I created football squares for the staff. Teachers earned squares by volunteering at the dance, assisting with the parade and festival, attending the game, or covering classes. As teachers volunteered, they wrote their name in a square on the poster in the front office.
Once all the squares were filled, I drew numbers and shared the completed playing board with staff.
Then throughout the game, I sent score updates at the end of each quarter and announced the winners. Each quarter’s winner received a $25 Visa gift card. My staff had a blast!
This is a fun activity that could also be done with a college game or an NFL game.
