We've raised over $400 plus 40 pair of socks in the 1st annual Sock/Donation drive presented by The College Park Reveliers and Running Lady Cavaliers.

During the month of October we will be collecting athletic & everyday socks (all sizes) for foster youth living in group homes in our community, through The Champion Project.

The possession of quality “essential items” like socks is so valuable to these kids, and helps them feel confident and loved.

To contribute - drop off new socks to the Revelier dance room (Coach Lowrey will have a sign in list) OR donate online here -

Don't miss EMMA!

Emma Woodhouse is clever, educated, and energetic… and in imminent danger of going mad with idleness. In a time when respectable ladies are expected to sit quietly at home, she desperately needs projects—and prides herself on matchmaking, much to the chagrin of her friend Mr. Knightley. But where Emma’s considerable energies focus, screwball comedy follows… A fresh take on a treasured classic, this Emma breaks down convention, expectation, and even the fourth wall with vibrant comic flair—leading audiences “forward, onward, and upward!”

The performances will take place on October 22, 23, 24, 25 at 7:00 pm in the Auditorium.

How to write a Teacher Achieving Excellence Nomination How to write a Teacher Achieving Excellence Nomination

  1. Log in to your account. Navigate to the Conroe ISD Single Sign-On (SSO) page at https://sso.conroeisd.net/ and log in using your parent credentials.
  2. Access the Parent Access portal. Once logged in, click on "Parent Access".
  3. Find the nomination form. Select "Communication" from the menu and then click on "Teachers/Staff Excellence".
  4. Select the staff member. You will be able to search for and select the specific teacher you want to recognize. If you have multiple children, be sure to select the correct student to find the right staff member for that school.
  5. Write your comments. You can select positive qualities that apply to the teacher and add a personal message in the comments section. To make your nomination most effective, focus on specific examples of their exceptional work.
    • Share specific examples. Instead of general praise, describe a particular situation where the teacher went above and beyond. Mention a project that engaged your child, a time they offered extra support, or how they fostered a positive classroom environment.
    • Describe the impact. Explain how the teacher's actions benefited your child's learning or well-being. For example, "Mrs. Smith helped my daughter feel more confident about reading by letting her choose books from the classroom library."
    • Keep it personal and concise. A heartfelt, specific nomination is more memorable than a long, generic one.

What to highlight in your writing

  • Positive impact: How they inspired your child's love for a subject.
  • Going above and beyond: When they offered extra help or stayed late to support a student.
  • Building a relationship: How they connected with your child on a personal level.
  • Communication: If they kept you well-informed and were responsive to your concerns.
  • Classroom environment: How they created a positive, supportive, and safe learning space for all students.

Attendance Attendance

Current Attendance Rate 94.6%

Our 24-25 attendance rate was: 94.9%. Our goal for 25-26 is 98%!

CPHS wants All Cavaliers to Achieve. A large part of student success is related to student attendance. We want to teach our Cavs all we can in the days that we have with them. Please encourage your student to attend every period to gain the knowledge they need to be successful. In the event your child does miss school, please be sure to email our attendance office or see the new Student Absence Reporting App information below. Also, please remind your child to get with their teacher about any work they missed. We would also like to remind you that your child will be at risk of losing credit and parents/guardians may have to go to court due to attendance.

Cavalier Compass is a weekly video from our school counseling team, shared with all students during their Wednesday advisory. Its purpose is to provide resources, encouragement, and real-life skills that support students both in and out of the classroom. Topics range from study habits and course planning to mental health awareness, healthy lifestyles, and digital citizenship. Our goal is to connect with students in a fun, positive way while giving them tools to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.

If you have any questions about Cavalier Compass, please reach out to our lead counselor, Kasey Lucas (kllucas@conroeisd.net).

Board Policy CO (Local) Food and Nutrition Management permits students to charge meals for no more than 15-school days. Below are the recommended guidelines to follow when students have insufficient funds and/or exceed the 15-day charge limit: Students in grades 7-12

  1. When a student’s account has a negative balance, once per week, the parent will receive notification by email and through Parent Access that their student has insufficient funds in their meal account.
  2. After 10-days of charges, the Child Nutrition Manager will refer the matter to the campus administration.
  3. Campus administration/counselors will contact the parent, verify the parent is aware of the situation, offer the school lunch program application, or other community resources, and help the parent finalize a plan to replenish the student’s account and clear all charges.
  4. Once the student has reached the 15-day charge limit no meals will be provided until the account is replenished, a payment plan has been initiated, or due to extenuating circumstances there is a campus administrative override to allow additional charges.

Applications for free and reduced-price meal service are available online at www.myschoolapps.com. Applications may be filled out anytime during the school year. Approval is based on federal guidelines. For more information, please call 936-709-8197
