Veterans Day Program Nov 11 & Info
The wall of veterans pictures we have posted in the hallway across from the gym is a powerful reminder of the heroes who served, continue to serve, and protect our freedom! If you have pictures of family that you'd like posted on the wall, it's not too late! Send them to Courtney ASAP.

Cultural Breakfasts for Students/Families
We will be hosting cultural breakfasts throughout the month of November. The purpose of these breakfasts is to gather students across grade levels together who share a common home language in order to celebrate, connect and story tell. Please share in your November newsletters and, if desired, discuss with any relevant students. Anna will be directly emailing the parents of all EB students with a copy as well.
Reach out to Anna with questions.
Mills-Giving Info Hub
Mills-Giving is the annual tradition of inviting families to come enjoy a Thanksgiving lunch (turkey or lentil chili pie) with their child during the student's lunch time. Millsgiving is happening on Nov 21.
For all staff, this lunch is on us! You'll receive a meal ticket from Susan that you'll use as you go through the lunch line on 11/21.
Be on the lookout for a Millsgiving lunch schedule from Deric, as lunch times may be slightly adjusted to accommodate the number of families on campus.
Please share the Mills-Giving Information blurb below in your class newsletters:

Safety on Campus
In light of the recent tragic school shooting in Georgia, we must continue to be as vigilant as ever with safety on campus.
Continued reminders:
1. Doors are shut and locked at all times. No exceptions. No propped door ever.
2. NEVER allow students to open classroom doors for people they don't know.
3. Active supervision. Make sure every single child under your wing is accounted for. Walk behind the class or beside the class so you can keep watchful eyes.
4. Playground and recess- all adults spread out to ensure we have eyes on all play areas.
5. See something, say something! Report all suspicious activity to admin and to the office. Never allow an individual to roam hallways without a visitors sticker.
