Middle School Robotics
These are photos of the 7th/8th grade team at the competition table during their practice round and their presentation of the innovative project. Their project this year was a rough design for a device that detects decay in artifacts and alerts archaeologists if environmental conditions accelerate the decay. It was designed with Southeast Alaska conditions in mind and considering the concerns of archaeologists with local artifacts as part of the "Unearthed" theme in this year's Lego Robotics competition.

2026 -2027 Budgeting Process & Meeting Dates
Are you interested in how the district’s budgeting process works? It’s a complex system with many interconnected pieces. We begin by projecting the revenue we expect to receive based on state statute, along with anticipated local and federal funding. From there, we build our expenditure plan, taking into account inflationary increases across all areas.
You are welcome to attend any of the meetings listed in the FY27 Budget Timeline graphic below. All meetings will take place in the PHS Library.
