WINTHROP WEEKLY
May 13, 2026
Dear Families and Caretakers,
It is such an exciting time of year! Our students have been doing a fantastic job on the MCAS Math assessments, and we are incredibly proud of the way they have demonstrated their knowledge, grit, and problem-solving skills. To celebrate that spirit of inquiry and hard work, we are thrilled to invite you to one of our favorite traditions: the Annual STEAM Showcase.
This event is a high-energy celebration of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. The lower gym will be transformed into a hub of creativity featuring interactive demonstrations, engineering prototypes, and beautiful art galleries that highlight the intersection of logic and design. Many stations will even offer hands-on discovery activities, allowing siblings and parents to get in on the fun and experience the "how" and "why" behind our students' favorite projects.
We hope you can join us this Thursday, May 14, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Ipswich Middle School High School in the lower gym. The showcase is a wonderful opportunity for our students to step into the role of experts and share their hard work with the community. We look forward to seeing the gym filled with the buzz of curiosity and school pride see you there!
