Message from Nicole Pease, Principal Message from Nicole Pease, Principal

Happy First Day of Spring! It has been another exciting week at DCS! Tuesday brought the annual visit from Lucky the Leprechaun! It is so much fun to watch as students come in, many hoping they may have caught the mischief maker in their trap. Somehow, Lucky always gets away! We are deep into the One School One Book and it has been really fun to hear how much our students are enjoying this book. We hope you are too! Remember, next week is Spirit Week and Monday is Camouflage Day!

Much of this week has been about preparing for the Talent Show! DCS parent Brittney Redler has done a tremendous job navigating the many ideas that our students offered as their Talent and supporting them in practicing and preparing for the Talent Show! The DCS Staff has been particularly flexible with many schedule changes and building in time to refine identified talents! It is amazing to me the courage our students possess as they perform in front of their peers and their families! The show was amazing and as you can see from the photo below we had many of our students participate in form or another!

I hope you have a lovely weekend, Nicole
