LTE Community Update

Our 4th graders have organized a food drive for the school next week, May 11-15, supporting the Backpack Society. This non-profit organization focuses on providing meals to kids on weekends and breaks when they lose access to school. We're asking students to bring in donations by grade level to meet the Backpack Society’s specific needs:

• Kindergarten - 2nd: Fruit cups/fruit squeezes
• 3rd/4th: Fruit snacks
• 5th/6th: Granola bars/protein bars

Our school goal is to fill the buckets in Town Center. If we do, students will earn a PJ day! Please have students place any food contributions in the bins in Town Center before heading to class in the morning! Thank you for your help in supporting this great cause!

We are encouraging staff and students to wear team spirit gear, including hats and hoodies, for their favorite Colorado team on Monday, May 11. Students who do not choose to support a team in this manner should follow our Standardized Dress Code on this day.

We will miss you, but wish you the BEST! - Help us wish a fond farewell to these staff members who are leaving LTE and moving on to new adventures.
