At the Board of Education meeting on October 30, 2025, Board President Laura Hernandez proudly extended heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Mamman on her appointment as the new Superintendent of the East Brunswick School District. We are absolutely thrilled for her and wish her every success as she begins this exciting new chapter in her distinguished career.

Over the past three years, Dr. Mamman has exemplified extraordinary leadership, unwavering dedication, and a deep commitment to our students, staff, and community. Her thoughtful guidance, innovative spirit, and compassion have left an enduring legacy within the South Brunswick School District one that will continue to inspire us for years to come.

While we will greatly miss her presence, we celebrate this well-deserved opportunity and take immense pride in all that she has accomplished. SBSD extends our sincere thanks and warmest wishes as you begin this exciting new chapter.

We’re so proud to announce that the SBHS Viking Marching Band was named the 2025 New Jersey State Champion in Group V Open this weekend at the US Bands State Championships!

With a score of 92.3, the band triumphed over Hillsborough and New Providence to take home the state title.

This season’s show, “At the Root of It All,” has showcased the incredible talent, passion, and dedication of our students, staff, and community.

Next up — National Championships at MetLife Stadium this Saturday at 10:45 PM!

From November 3rd - November 28th, the Cambridge School Cougar Cougar Council will be collecting unwanted Halloween Candy for Veterans and those who are currently serving our country.

In addition, we will also take any unwanted Halloween Costumes you may have.
