New drop off and more

Campus Access & Drop-Off Procedures

Due to the ongoing construction of our new Science Wing in B Hall, we are implementing changes to campus access and student drop-off. To ensure safety and a smooth traffic flow, please note the following updates:

  • Driving / Student Drop-Off: Please enter off Mariposa and drop off students in the back of the school, directly in front of the Large Gym.

  • Walkers and Bus Riders: Please enter the campus through the attendance office hallway.

  • Office Visitors & Deliveries: Access to the front of the school on Greenback will be limited. If you need to speak with office staff or make a delivery, please use the Greenback entrance and park in the designated visitor parking.

  • Cafeteria Access: The cafeteria will only be accessible from the tennis court side (North side).

Families are doing a pretty good job of doing this - we are having more activity in the front parking lot - please pick up and drop off in the back.

Driving: Families and students should enter off of Mariposa and drop off in front of the Large Gym. Walking or Bus: Enter through the attendance office hallway. Families, if you need to talk with office staff, feel free to park in visitor parking on Greenback. Access to the cafeteria will only be available from the tennis court side (North side).

Join Now!

Dear Families,

We are still recovering from the financial impact of COVID. Because all school sports are funded entirely by ticket sales and Booster fundraising, playing past seasons without fans in the stands took a toll on our budget.

Last year we had limited parent and guardian involvement, but this is the year we turn it around! We must have you join us for our athletics program to be successful.

There are so many ways to help out. Here is what we need right now:

  • Chain Gang Volunteers: For all football games.

  • Snack Bar Volunteers: For all athletic events.

  • Officers & General Support: We are looking for new leaders to step up! (Note: To run for office, you must attend two meetings and be a $10 dues-paying member).

How to get involved:

  • Join the BAND app: This is our main hub for Booster communication and volunteer sign-ups.

  • Attend our next Booster Meeting: Join us in the library on Tuesday, October 13 from 5:00–6:00 pm.

WE NEED YOU! Thank you for supporting our student-athletes.

Click on the link to join the BAND App - if you already have BAND, you can search for SJHS Boosters:
