Need Internet Access for NTI Days?
With the possibility of weather-related Non-Traditional Instruction (NTI) days this winter, families who do not have internet access at home can request a hotspot for their student to complete homework or classwork. To inquire about a hotspot, email Kaci Cohn at kaci.cohn@fayette.kyschools.us. Please note that eligibility requirements must be met, and a Hotspot Agreement will need to be signed by a parent or guardian before a device is issued. Each household is limited to one hotspot, and the device will only connect to FCPS Chromebooks.
ACCESS for ELLs Testing
In January, all students classified as English Learners will take the ACCESS for ELLs language proficiency test. The test measures academic English language proficiency for students learning English in our school and throughout our state. Teachers in our school use this information to help them make decisions about instruction for your child. Teachers also use these test scores to monitor your child's progress toward English proficiency. This test is given in sections; therefore, your child will test on multiple days throughout the month. Your child must be at school daily to ensure the testing is completed within the window.
