Greetings, GNETS Family!

We are excited to share great news on how the center sites for South Metro GNETS have started the 2024-25 school year! With a refreshed group of students and staff, we have focused our program efforts on our continued pursuit of mastery of the Neurosequential Model in Education (NME). This therapeutic framework allows students and staff to focus on relationship building, self-regulation, and using moments of crisis as learning opportunities. Our efforts have been reinforced by members of our crisis support team being retrained in our crisis communication format Reflection And Focus Time (RAFT); our teams are trained and prepared to help our students work through the frequent individual crises they encounter.

Our program is happy to welcome the Cool Program LLC, and Small Steps Music LLC to our list of therapeutic providers. Cool Program LLC serves as our internal source for talk therapy and other community based mental health services while Small Steps Music LLC facilitates music therapy sessions for students at both the Ash St. Center and JB Henderson Center. South Metro GNETS will continue to develop and expand therapy options for students.

We are excited about the upcoming program events and look forward to seeing parents and students come out to participate. Thank you for all the support and we look forward to seeing you all soon!

Students love the beauty & peacefulness of the Calvin Center. They get to groom & ride horses while working on their coping skills, trust and relationships.

JBH teachers, staff, district employees, families, community stakeholders, and our local school, worked together to create a fun filled Fall Festival for our students!

We are thankful for all time, hard work and support we receive from our families. We're looking forward to the positive outcomes our partnership will bring 🥰
