Windows 10...ACTION REQUIRED

If you haven't backed up your files and updated to Windows 10 please do it ASAP. Complete the steps in the document attached below to update your district computer to Windows 10.

This is for ALL computers on campus (offices, classrooms, and labs). This does NOT apply to Chromebooks.

Windows 10 computers sign on the same as a Promethean. You have to swipe up the image to get the username/password screen. Once logged in though, you can follow these steps to check your Windows edition!

After you've upgraded your computer to Windows 10, you are now ready to add back your printing capabilities!

Follow these directions to help you navigate that process!

Angel Webb is in search of teachers who use Kurzweil on a regular basis, not just for testing. She would like to examine data of the students who are using the program to determine if it is proving to be beneficial to them.

Kurzweil Usage

• Take a screenshot of your entire screen: Press Ctrl + Switch Window.
• Take a screenshot of part of your screen: Press Ctrl + Shift + Switch Window.
• Open the keyboard shortcuts helper: Press Ctrl + Alt + /.
  
• Caps Lock: Alt + Search
  
• Dock the Active Window to the left or right side: Alt + [ (to dock left) or Alt + ] (to dock right)

• Delete characters to the right of the cursor: Alt + Backspace

There were issues accessing this site after the district updated firewall settings. The site is working inside the district again.

Conversation Starters are a great way to get students thinking, speaking, and listening. There are many types of questions listed...something for every subject! Check it out!

Calling all employees who enjoy taking pictures. We have an opportunity for you. Do you have a camera and enjoy taking creative shots? Find your favorite one (shot after 4/1/2019) and make sure you enter into this year’s photography contest, open to ALL employees. There are a couple of rules to follow.

1. Photographs must be school appropriate.

2. Each photo must fit into one of three categories - people, place, or alterations.

3. The picture should be something you have created since April of 2019.

4. Photos need to be matted preferably in black (white is acceptable) with outer dimensions of (12 X 14).

5. Must be submitted to Dr. M. Kelley at the Bamberg building by April 7, 2020.

6. The photo must fit within the outside dimensions of 12 X 14.

In ePortal, complete the DLS request link in the top right yellow section!
