Important Preparation & Support:

  • We strongly encourage all schools to review the Ohio PBIS Recognition Application Manual thoroughly. This manual contains crucial details about the recognition process, application questions, and the scoring rubric. You can access the manual here: Link to Manual
  • Please be aware that when the application survey is started, it must be completed and submitted at that time. Unlike previous years, it can not be saved and returned to at a later time.
  • Please pay close attention to the Documentation and Data Requirements for Recognition Award Applications for the Bronze, Silver, and Gold awards as there are changes for this year.
  • State Support Team (SST), SOESC & BCESC Assistance: Please let us know how we can support your application for recognition. To further support your efforts, please consider the following:
    • Self-Assessment Survey (SAS) Facilitation: To schedule your SAS administration, please provide us with your desired survey window (opening and closing dates). We will then provide you with the survey link and, following the survey's conclusion, generate and deliver the necessary reports.
    • Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI) and Walkthrough Tool Support:
      • If you would like us to facilitate the TFI (as recommended by the tool) or assist with completing the Walkthrough Tools, please let us know.
      • Alternatively, if you are conducting these assessments independently, please send us your data. This will allow us to generate the reports to support your recognition applications.
    • Tier 3 Student Support Plan Worksheets : Please feel free to send us any Tier 3 Student Support Plans for feedback with the Student Support Plan worksheet.
