Join us on Wednesday, August 19 from 5:30–6:30 p.m. for an informative session designed to help families better understand their child's i-Ready Diagnostic results and how the assessment supports student learning and placement. Whether you're new to i-Ready or would simply like a better understanding of your child's results, this session will provide valuable information and an opportunity to have your questions answered. Keep your eyes on the front office and cafeteria walls for our new honor roll banners celebrating current 7th and 8th graders! On Aug. 28, we will celebrate current 7th and 8th graders that earned either all A's or all A's and B's last year. Parents should not attend, but we are looking for a few volunteers HERE.

Due to an unplanned last minute price increase from the parent party venue, we are postponing the Parent Party and planning to run our Auction later this fall. Stay tuned for updates and exciting news from the Foundation! If you purchased tickets to the event, you will be refunded. Thank you for your support! Go Panthers!

The new date for Fall Picture Day is September 1. Bring your camera-ready smiles to school that day! Uniforms are still required.

If your student is interested in participating in one of the WINTER athletic teams offered at RCMS, they MUST have a valid physical on file by September 4. Access the physical packet HERE. Winter sports include Tennis, Volleyball (boys), Basketball and Tumbling.

If your child qualified for free or reduced-price meals last school year, you must complete a new application for the 2026–2027 school year to continue receiving those benefits. This requirement applies to all students, regardless of grade level.

Tryouts continue next week! Volleyball and Cross Country have adjustments to their schedules, please see below. Remember that the schedule can change due to weather so remind your student to listen to the announcements each day.
