It looks like we may have our first snow of the school year this week! Please remember to send your kiddo equipped for the weather. It is always a good idea to review our criteria for when we'll have students play outside v. call for indoor recess:

Esta semana parece que tendremos la primera nevada del curso escolar. Por favor, recuerden enviar a sus hijos equipados para el clima. Siempre es buena idea revisar nuestros criterios para decidir cuándo los estudiantes jugarán al aire libre o cuándo se les pedirá que inicien el recreo en el interior.

We’re excited to announce that our Giving Tree is now up in the main lobby.

We invite all families, if they would like, to take a tag from the tree and purchase a gift for a Providence Hall student in need. This annual tradition is a wonderful way for our community to come together and make the holiday season brighter for others.

Please remember to:

• Wrap your gift before returning it.

• Attach the sticker from the tag securely to your wrapped gift.

• Return all gifts to the school by Thursday, December 12th.

Your kindness and generosity truly make a difference. Thank you for sharing the spirit of giving and helping our Providence Hall community spread joy this holiday season!

Students have been asking the question can I bring my own recess equipment from home? The answer is no. We ask that students leave all their footballs, soccer balls, wall balls, jump ropes, etc at home. But great news we have recess equipment for each grade level. Each grade level has their own recess cart that goes out at their recess time. However as you can imagine some items get lost over time. If you would like to purchase items to help refill our recess carts we would appreciate it. Thanks

Parents, as we inch closer to cold and flu season please keep in mind the Providence Hall policy regarding when to keep your child home. These policies are in place to protect your child and all the other children in the schools.
