What We Are Learning
Need to Know Below
Fire Prevention Week
This week in I&I we discussed fire safety, created fire evacuation plans and became Junior Fire Marshal's! We really hope you continue the conversation at home by reviewing ways to be fire safe in your home, where smoke detectors/fire alarms are located at home and discussing fire escape plans as a family. Your Ocelot already started the work with their fire evacuation plan from their bedroom! See this website for more information - https://www.thehartford.com/about-us/junior-fire-marshal/home-fire-escape-plan

Message from District to Parents: MAP Testing Results
For more information about MAP testing, parents may visit the NWEA’s Family Toolkit website (available in multiple languages) or visit the links here for a brief overview of the report in English or Spanish.
We will start Parent Teacher Conferences soon but in the meantime to ask questions about a child’s results or progress, you are welcome to contact the child’s teacher.
Connect to Seesaw
Seesaw is a student-driven digital portfolio. Seesaw empowers students of any age to create, reflect, collaborate and share. Families have been invited to Seesaw to stay in the loop about their child’s learning, and easily communicate between school and home. This optional if you are interested in receiving reminders or seeing your Ocelot's seesaw digital portfolio of work.
