Report Cards for Quarter 2 will be mailed home on Friday, January 9. Quarter 2 Grades will be available and finalized on the San Juan Parent Portal* as well as on the Student Portal on January 9, 2006.

Quarter 2 ends on January 5, 2026. Grades will be final and become a part of students' official transcripts.

If you have any questions or concerns about your student's learning, academic progress, or grades, please contact your student's teachers directly.

*For Pin and Password information, please use the Forgot your Pin? and Reset Your Password options on the Login page of the Parent Portal.

ELA iReady testing will take place from January 12 to January 16. Please help make sure your student gets a good night's rest!

District Championships will be held at Arcade on February 12, 2026!

Arcade Middle School Band Boosters is hosting a Spring Concert Fundraiser! Money is being raised for instrument repair, educational field trips, band t-shirts, music for students, and end-of-the-year awards. Your contribution makes all the difference for our students!

An annual opportunity for families living within San Juan Unified boundaries to request a transfer to a school of their choice, as long as there is available space at the desired school.

• Available space is based on the school's physical and program capacity, after resident students are placed.

• Participation in the lottery does not guarantee placement at the requested school.

• Not all Special Education programs are available at all school sites. Students with IEPs are reviewed by a Special Education for placement. Please contact your Program Specialist for details and support.

San Juan Central Food Closet:

The San Juan Unified food closet is located at the Central Enrollment Center (3700 Garfield Ave. in Carmichael) and serves families, staff and community who are in need of non-perishable food items.

Hours:

Open year round, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-1:00 pm
Closed on non-school days and holidays.
