Weekly Update

Parents,

Kindergarten registration for the 2025-26 school year has begun. If your family, or another Parkway family you know of, has a child who is kindergarten aged, please register or encourage them to register as soon as possible. The earlier our families register, the more certain we are able to be about staffing. Thank you for your help.

During February, our PE department sponsors Kids Heart Challenge. Please see below for more information. Mrs. Cooley and Mr. McGuire can answer any questions you have.

Texas Road House Fundraiser

Texas Roadhouse will be hosting a fundraiser for Oak Brook families on Sunday, February 23rd.

More information may be found on the flyer below.
They host our fundraiser all day, so it will be from 11 am - 10 pm.
Please bring a copy of the flyer (we will send it home next week or show it on your phone)
Andy, the Armadillo, will be present from 12 pm - 3 pm
Teacher/Educator Nomination Box - a way for students to give a shout out to someone at OB who has made a difference in their life

Focus on Character

Teamwork

This week we will focus on teamwork. We define teamwork as relying on one another to achieve a common goal. There are some video clips below. If you have time to watch them with your child, talk with him/her about how the outcome changed when the team members worked together rather than separately. What do you think would have happened if they wouldn't have worked as a team in each clip?
