High School Dismissal for State Tournament, Remainder of School Year

Charging Wildcat Arena will be home of the Class 6A State Basketball Tournament, which will take place February 27-March 2.

In the spirit of safety, North Little Rock High School and Center of Excellence students ONLY will be dismissed each day of that week at 2:20 p.m.

To make up missed instructional time, beginning Monday, February 12, the school day for NLRHS and COE students will end at 4:05 p.m. instead of 4:00 p.m. for the remainder of the school year.

Participating in the State Tournament

Hosting the Class 6A State Basketball Tournament is a huge undertaking. We welcome volunteers to participate in helping us welcome our guests, work the concession stand, or other duties -- essentially showing guests what makes North Little Rock and this community a special place. We also welcome donations from individuals, businesses, and organizations as well.

ACT Saturday

Several of our students will be taking the ACT on Saturday, February 10, 2024. Please make sure your student has the ACT Admission Ticket printed and with them, along with the following items:

Acceptable identification (government-issued photo ID or current school ID)
Pencils
Permitted calculator for the math section.
A watch (but no smart watch)
Snack (can be eaten outside the test room while on break.

Crestwood is encouraging mothers and mother-figures to stop in on Friday, February 16, for a sweet start of the day!

The deadline to submit the form is Wednesday, February 14 at 11:59 p.m.
