Parents' Curriculum Connection - September Edition
Welcome back or welcome for the first time, to a brand new school year full of possibility. Whether your child is starting kindergarten or stepping into their final year before graduation, we're glad to have them with us.
This year, our team has continued strengthening our curriculum to keep learning relevant, rigorous, and engaging. We remain committed to building students' critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills — the kind of thinking that serves them well beyond the classroom.
Across every grade level, students can look forward to hands-on projects, meaningful discussions, and instruction designed to meet them where they are. Our goal is simple: help every student find something to be curious about, and give them the tools to keep exploring it.
Parents and guardians, we can't do this without you. Your involvement through conferences, open houses, and everyday conversations about school makes a real difference in your child's experience. We'll keep you informed and invite you to reach out anytime with questions or ideas.
To our students: come to school ready to ask questions, try new things, and lean on your teachers and classmates when things get challenging. Growth often starts right at the edge of what feels comfortable.
Here's to another year of learning together — as a Lindenwold family, we're better for it.
Warmly,
The Curriculum Department
Lindenwold School District

Attendance is Important to Academic Growth
Title I Parent Information Night
We will be holding out Title I Parent Information Nights as part of each building's open house.
Title I is a federal program that provides funding for instructional services and activities. These supports help students in meeting state academic performance standards, and closing performance and opportunity gaps.
Be sure to check our Title I page to find out more information about Title I.
Bilingual Parent Advisory Committee
We are looking for parents to be part of our Bilingual Advisory Committee (BPAC)! This committee will help us serve the needs of our multilingual learners (MLs). Our MLs represent a large and growing population of our school district, and our staff are always looking for effective new ways to meet their needs. If you are interested in being a part of our BPAC, please email Jennifer Bastedo, supervisor of MLs and World Languages (jbastedo@lindenwold.k12.nj.us).
