All Saints Outreach News
September 2025
Our parish garden had a bumper crop of tomatoes this year. Thanks to all who donated fresh produce from their home gardens to our food bank.
Food Bank Drivers - Going Above and Beyond
Last week one of our drivers went out of their way to help families in need due to a fire in their apartment complex. When our driver heard that many families were displaced and in need of household items, they went home, packed up some very nice dishes and took them to the complex. Way to go!
Another food bank guest called recently to request a Thanksgiving food basket. She said she was very grateful for our help. She shared that she didn't know what she would do without us as she cannot drive or walk very far.
Bless all of our volunteers and parishioners for supporting our Food Bank!

Backpack Program
Each year, we partner with Communities in Schools of Puyallup to provide food for students in need. Students take food home for the weekend in their backpacks, hence the name "Backpack Program." We will resume delivering food to local elementary schools in September. Donations are always appreciated. Select "Community Services Food Bank" as contributions to this fund support all our food programs.
PREPARES
A grant from PREPARES allows us to distribute diapers to families with little ones through our food bank. Thank you also to our Knights of Columbus for their donation. In August, 9 families received diapers and wipes. Our parish family is hosting a Community Baby Shower on October 18. See the post below for more information.
Thank you to our Columbiettes who donated food to our Backpack Program!
