A Moment of Gratitude
Classified Mentor Program
We’re celebrating the 14th year of the Classified Mentor Program and welcoming an amazing group of mentors for 2026-2027!
On September 30, 64 mentors representing 22 different job profiles across 56 schools and 8 departments came together to kick off the year, with a special welcome from Superintendent Kane.
The Classified Mentor Program supports a positive climate and culture by strengthening communication, connection, and support for classified staff across the district. Each year, schools and departments are invited to designate a Classified Mentor to represent, connect with, and support their classified staff.

Science-Based Strategies for Thriving Through Change
In this article by Britt Andreatta she explains that resisting change is a natural human response, but we can build resilience through intentional habits. Constant change can lead to stress, burnout, and change fatigue, making it important to prioritize rest, participate in activities that bring joy, make time for play, and practice mindfulness. Leaders can also help by communicating changes thoughtfully and providing support. By taking care of ourselves and supporting one another, we can navigate change more positively and adapt more effectively. Read the article here.
