Horse Project Resources
1. Animal Selection
When choosing a horse for showing, you want one that you feel safe with and is easy to handle. If you don't own a horse, you may also lease. Leasing is a good option if you want to try out horse showing before you buy one.
2. Animal Nutrition
Horses need water and hay. Some need extra grain to help with weight, feed supplements or encourage eating. Make sure at all times your horse has plenty of hay and water. Every horse is fed differently so do not try to feed another persons horse.
