Girls Day Game A Success
This week, our girls teams played during the day in front of our students. Our varsity team soared to a victory as more than 700 students cheered them on. It was a great afternoon of community building!
iReady Updates
As part of our ongoing initiative to promote practice on the iReady platform, we opened our Mystery Prize Box this week. Students who met their weekly goals of 45-minutes in reading and math and two lessons in each subject are awarded an entry into our weekly drawing.
Not only does the weekly practice qualify students for the weekly drawing, it has also proven beneficial for student progress toward our yearly goals for achievement! Based on the most recent assessment, many of our students are growing at an increased rate. In other words, many of our students are poised to make more than one year's worth of growth by the end of this year. That is certainly something to celebrate!
Congrats to our winners from this week!
Coming Next Week: Wild Wheel Wednesdays
All students who complete their iReady each week are eligible
to win a chance to spin the wheel each Wednesday.
West Virginia School Learning Environment Survey for Parents/Guardians
DearParents/Caregivers,
To ensure we continue providing positive learning environments and limitless opportunities for our students, we are participating in the West Virginia School Learning Environment Survey for parents/caregivers, students in grades 3–12, and staff.
These surveys are conducted online and provide critical information about the learning/teaching environment, the health and well-being of students and staff, and support for parents.
Surveys are due by February 27. Please contact us with any questions.
Additionally, if you do not want your child to participate in the West Virginia School Learning Environment Survey for Students, please click the link below and print or email the form to your student's teacher.
Thank you in advance for your support and participation!
Remote Learning Guidelines
Parents: As we move deeper into the winter season, please review the Remote Learning guidelines with your student. At this time, we have used our allotted five (5) snow days. It is the expectation that students are engaged in Remote Learning IF we have any additional weather-related closings.
On Remote Learning Days, students are expected to log into Schoology and meet with each of their teachers via Teams. Those meetings will be brief, and students will have the afternoon hours to complete any assignments.
Please see the schedule for Remote Learning Days provided below.

- Period 2--> 9:20-9:35
- Period 3--> 9:40-9:55
