ATTENTION SENIORS!!

Attention Seniors! I need all seniors at some point to stop into the office to check the spelling of your name for your diploma. Remember, your diploma is an official academic credential and must contain your LEGAL first, middle and last names. We do not want to have to re-print your diploma so it's very important that you come down and initial if the spelling of your name is correct, add your middle name, if necessary or make any other corrections that may be needed. This needs to be done by the end of October so I can get them printed and back in time!

Student Video Contest!

My name is Franki Moscato (girl, 23, Oshkosh). I am “that Wisconsin girl” who won a Gold Ticket on ABC’s American Idol. Perhaps you’ve seen me sing the Anthem for the Packers (5), Bucks (7), NASCAR (1), or Whitehouse (2). I am writing to ask you for help communicating a project I am working on to fight teen suicide.

My story includes being bullied out of two schools and finding myself in a dark place. Today, I use my platform and my non-profit, Franki Moscato Foundation, to advocate for teen suicide prevention.

I am inviting Wisconsin students in grades 6-12 to make a 60-second video about being kind, anti-bullying, or somehow preventing teen suicide. See my contest here: http://BeKindContest.com

Video submissions are due by November 1st. We have to hurry! The winning video will be professionally produced and broadcast as a televised Public Service Announcement across Wisconsin. The kids and adults who worked on the project will be invited to be cast in the production spot, and the author’s parents will win a FunJet vacation to the Dominican Republic!
