Can you believe it? We have less than 2 months left in this incredible school year! It’s hard to imagine, but your amazing little learners are just weeks away from becoming Kindergarteners!

To finish strong, we’ve got a calendar packed with fun and exciting activities, including our Egg Hunt, a Field Trip, and Lunch on the Lawn. These moments are not only full of fun, but also rich with learning.

Thank you for sharing your little Cardinals with us. We absolutely love watching them learn, laugh, and blossom each day!

Your child has put in so much effort learning their letters and sounds, and we can’t wait to see them show off all their hard work. We've planned some fun days to commemorate this year's achievements. Let’s make some wonderful memories together!

Online enrollment for students who will be new to Melissa ISD for the 2025-2026 school year is open! Parents and guardians of students entering Kindergarten this fall are encouraged to attend Kindergarten Round-Up, a come-and-go event on Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 12:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Home Office, located at 1904 Cooper Street. Prior to Kindergarten Round-Up, a custodial parent or guardian should complete the “New Student Enrollment” process online on the Melissa ISD website at http://www.melissaisd.org/enroll. Melissa ISD will host the 14th annual Special Olympics track meet on Friday, April 25, at the Melissa Middle School Cardinal Stadium, welcoming student-athletes from several area schools. Opening ceremonies begin at 9:30 a.m., with track and field events starting at 10 a.m. We welcome the community to come out and cheer on our Cardinal athletes!

Registration is now open for our Summer 2025 Cardinal Camps! Melissa ISD is offering a variety of youth camps this summer in athletics, academics, and fine arts. To learn more and register your camper, visit www.melissaisd.org/camps.

Registration is open for the 21st Annual Melissa Open Golf Tournament is set to take place on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Top Golf in Allen, Texas. The event will begin at 9 a.m. and feature a new, more accessible format designed to accommodate participants of all skill levels. This annual event is a blend of fun and purpose, with proceeds benefiting Melissa Middle School and High School students. Registration is available at www.melissa booster club.org. Individuals must be 18 years or older to participate (students may not participate). Come take part in this exciting tradition benefiting a good cause!
