The ASVAB is being administered at CHS on January 21st @ 8:45am.

The ASVAB is a military entrance and career exploration test.

Students in grades 10–12 who meet the requirements for CHS's NHS chapter received an invitation in their first hour class. Per national guidelines, at a minimum, students must have a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher. Students who are eligible and would like to apply should see Mrs. Alex in room 6 or Mrs. Logan in room 4 for an application. All applications are due Friday, February 13 at 3:20pm. Do not wait until the last minute to pick up an application! If you believe your student meets this minimum requirement and did not receive an invitation letter, or if your student is an AMCS or KCC student with a home school of Chugiak, please contact Mrs. Logan or Mrs. McDonald.

The Alaska Safe Children's Act focuses on teaching kids how to identify healthy and unhealthy relationships and how to ask for help when they or a friend is in an unhealthy relationship. This month we will begin our second lesson on Jan. 23, 2026. If you'd prefer your student NOT receive this information, you can opt them out by contacting their counselor via email at least 24 hours in advance.

The Alaska Safe Children’s Act (informally known as Erin’s and Bree’s Law) is made up of two separate pieces of legislation and went into effect on June 30, 2017.

Payment for high school parking permits has been suspended again for the 25-26 school year.

YOU WILL STILL NEED A PERMIT. (part-time as well as full time)

Starting Monday August 25, 2025 cars in student parking that do not have a new 25-26 student parking permit will be ticketed. Please complete the parking form below and pick up your permit from Mr. Moncur across from room 75.
