THE FRIDAY FORECAST
March 30 - April 3rd
Dear Mustangs,
We are looking forward to a wonderful Prom tomorrow at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Please be sure your students review the guidelines listed below, and ensure they are picked up promptly at 10:00 p.m.
Next week is a short week leading into Spring Break. I encourage you to remind your students to stay focused on their studies and to take advantage of Tutorial if they need additional support. The school year will move quickly once we return from Spring Break, so it is important that students stay on top of their work.
Finally, bravo to all who were part of The Drowsy Chaperone. The talent displayed by our students was truly inspiring. Thank you to Ms. Seare, Ms. Takahashi, and the entire team for their leadership and guidance. If you have not yet had the opportunity to see the show, you can catch the final performance on Friday, March 27 at 7:00 p.m.
My best,

1st Annual Rotary Club Business Plan Competition
Congratulations to Walnut High School sophomores Khloe Chen and Kiera Tjahjadi for earning 2nd place at the 1st Annual Rotary Club Business Plan Presentation Competition!
Khloe and Kiera represented Walnut High School with professionalism, creativity, and confidence as they presented their business plan to a panel of Rotary Club judges. Their hard work, preparation, and dedication truly stood out among the competition.
As active members of FBLA and NTHS, these students are a great example of what it looks like to apply the skills they are learning in the classroom and through career technical student organizations in real-world settings. Their success reflects both their individual commitment and the strength of Walnut High School’s Business Pathway.
The Business Pathway is incredibly proud of the effort they put into developing their business plan and delivering a polished, engaging presentation.
In recognition of their achievement, each student was awarded $100.
Please join us in celebrating Khloe and Kiera for representing Walnut High School so well—we look forward to seeing all they accomplish in the future!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the Walnut High School community, our National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) Shoe Drive was a huge success!

These numbers represent real environmental change and a meaningful step toward sustainability.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the students, staff, families, and community members who contributed to this effort. Your support not only helped those in need but also made a lasting positive impact on our planet.
Thank you, Walnut High School, for stepping up and making a difference!
