As we continue to navigate these negative temperatures, thank you for taking extra care to keep our students safe, warm, and comfortable throughout the day. Your attentiveness—whether it’s helping with coats, mittens, or simply offering a reassuring smile—makes a big difference for our little learners.
We are also approaching the exciting end of our Clothing Unit, and it’s been wonderful to see the meaningful connections students are making between what they wear and how it helps them in their everyday lives. To wrap up the unit, we will be hosting our Clothing Drive to support the Antioch Traveling Closet, along with a fun and festive Spirit Week to celebrate learning, kindness, and community.
Thank you for all you do each day to support our students and families—your dedication truly warms our school, even on the coldest days!

Spending time outdoors with my family - gardening, going to local forest preserves/parks, going on walks and going on zoo trips! - What’s your favorite season of the year and why?
I love Summer - going to the beach is one of my favorite things to do with my kids! -
If you weren’t in education, what other career could you see yourself doing?
Working with animals or in a Library. -
