News From the Ranch
February 1, 2026, Vol. 1, Issue 24
Dear TRE Family,
This week brought some beautiful sunny days on the ranch. Lots of laughs, running around, and games on the field and blacktop during recess and lunch. In the classrooms, we talked about kindness, the impact, and how we can display acts of kindness to all those around. Students and staff celebrated 100 days of school with costumes and t-shirts that were absolutely adorable. We have accomplished a lot of new learning in the short 100 days of this 2025-2026 school year. We had an awesome PTA sponsored Family BINGO Night. We said goodbye to our amazing librarian, Mrs. Kathy Pasmore, with a Clap Out through the library. Lots of hugs, tears, and smiles as we danced, waved, and cheered through the library! We also had Tustin PD Police Services Officers join us at TRE to engage each grade level in a "Think About It" or "Officer Friendly" assembly. It was a great week at TRE!
Looking ahead, mark your calendars, we celebrate 30 years of Tustin Ranch Elementary at our Learning Celebration (Open House) on the evening of March 18th. We invite all current and past families to join us on March 18th to honor and celebrate 30 years of TRE, and have an opportunity to experience and celebrate the learning in each of our classrooms. More info to come.

ALL SCHOOL CLAP OUT SAYING OUR GOODBYES!
National School Counseling Week | Feb 2-6
If you have interacted with our school counselor, Ms. Bianca Contreras-Garcia, or our school Psychologists, Marco Corona or Samantha Pastoriza, we would love your help to thank them for all they do to support our TRE community. While we recognize that not all families and students have interacted with them, we wanted to provide an opportunity to hear from those who have been positively impacted by their support. We will use this information to craft a meaningful gift that we will present to them this week.
If interested, please click HERE for a very brief survey to capture your gratitude. All submissions should be done by Tuesday, 2/3. The survey will be closed at that time.
