It’s a great time to be in Ag, where learning truly comes to life outside the classroom!

The Principal's Corner

I know that this is a busy time for everyone, as spring is in the air along with school events, outside family activities, and youth events. We are also continuing to teach, collaborate, and prepare for state testing during this time.

I will continue to send out information for our upcoming events and activities. I also want to share some important dates with you so you can mark them on your calendar. While many of these events are exciting, we still need students to maintain focus throughout the school day and continue learning.

If there is an event you do not see listed or have questions or concerns about, please feel free to reach out to me at aburrows@tuscumbialions.k12.mo.us.

Thank you for your continued support of our students during this busy season.

Are you interested in becoming a substitute teacher?

If you are interested in becoming a substitute teacher and you do not have the required 36 college hours, you can do an online course that will allow you to get a substitute certificate. Here is the link to that course, and here is the link to the DESE web page that gives you more information about what you need to do to get a substitute certification. Our daily rate for subs for the 2025-26 school year is $105/day.
