Be a Better You Be a Better You

For the 2023-2024 school year, West Elementary will be working on targeted practice on some “life” skills in addition to academics. Every week, we will practice a skill that will help us all be a little better. This week’s skill is a GIVING SOMEONE A COMPLIMENT.

Most people are pretty good at GIVING A COMPLIMENT, but a reminder never hurts. This week we will be practicing.

Our Two Phys Ed "Classrooms" Our Two Phys Ed "Classrooms"

Good news! Both West Elementary School Physical Education spaces will be up and running this week. Our new Gym, or the old pool area, is still a work in progress. It is set up with floor mats and some obstacle course equipment. Our old Gym has a brand new floor! Both spaces look fantastic, and we are lucky to have two Gyms for our classes!

The students have been working hard in Art class to create a beautiful piece of artwork for West Elementary's Square 1 Art fundraiser. Within the next few weeks you will be receiving a flyer explaining how to order keepsakes with your child's artwork on it. All proceeds go to our amazing PTA.

PTA Fall Fundraiser -- Due Today!!!

Our PTA fall fundraiser is kicking off on 10/2! We will be selling cookie dough and other holiday treats!

We are asking ALL parents to pre-register their student(s) here:
https://www.shopfund.com/parentregister

Please get at least one person to support our fundraiser before our official kick-off day. Any student that is registered and gets 10 shares clicked will be entered into a drawing for over $100,000 worth of prizes. How cool would it be if we took a chunk out of our goal BEFORE the fundraiser even starts?

Thank you so much for your help!
