The Conejo Schools Foundation’s All District Music Festival, a beloved community tradition in partnership with the Conejo Valley Unified School District, Conejo Recreation and Park District and the City of Thousand Oaks, proudly returns to the Kavli Theatre at the Bank of America Performing Arts Center this spring.
Now in its 42nd year, the festival brings together more than 3,500 student musicians from across the Conejo Valley for ten nights of string, choir, and band performances where CVUSD elementary, middle, and high school students take to the stage at one of the region’s premier performance venues. The event offers students a rare opportunity to experience a truly world-class stage environment, taking them “behind the curtain” and onto a professional platform.
Beyond the performance, the festival plays a vital role in inspiring students to keep music central to their education. It encourages continued participation throughout their academic journeys while also fostering meaningful connections. Students are introduced to peers and instructors from their future middle and high schools, strengthening a sense of community and continuity across grade levels.
The first event kicks off on Tuesday, April 14th - with reserved tickets required for each performance. Click here to learn more and to reserve seats to see our students shine on the stage, as they share their musical talents with the broader community.
During the program, participants had the chance to observe classrooms, tour the schools, and gain insight into the exceptional educational experiences of students. Following the campus tours, a luncheon was held at the Palm Garden Hotel, where participants shared their personal experiences from their visits.
Thank you to the Chamber of Commerce and to the 45 community participants from a wide range of local businesses and organizations who took part in the 2026 Principal for a Half Day Program, helping to strengthen the connections between our schools and the broader community.
More than 300 projects were submitted by students from across the County. In total, 49 projects created by CVUSD scholars from Thousand Oaks High School (28), Los Cerritos Middle School (8), Sequoia Middle School (8), Newbury Park High School (3), Westlake High School (1), and Sycamore Canyon School (1), were winners across a variety of special awards and categories.
