27 Happy Thanksgiving!

12-1 thru 12-5 K-Kids Toy Drive Collection

As the Thanksgiving holiday approaches, I want to share my deepest gratitude for the strong partnership that makes our Westview community so successful; your daily efforts—from helping with homework to ensuring your child is ready to learn—are the crucial support that drives their growth and success. We truly appreciate the trust you place in our staff and are thankful for the privilege of working alongside you to help your children learn and shine. From all of us at Westview, we wish your family a warm, restful, and joyful Thanksgiving holiday.

Our student leaders shine brightly! ✨ The Westview Student Council successfully hosted their Service Worker Breakfast this morning, honoring families who dedicate themselves to service (Military, Police, Fire, Armed Services, Emergency Services, Medical). It was a powerful lesson in gratitude and community support!

The upcoming winter performance by students in Grades 3 and 4 and our school Choir is scheduled for Wednesday, December 17th, 2:15. We are excited for the winter concert and look forward to sharing our students' musical talents with you!

Our 4th-grade Innovation class is starting an exciting new project! To make it a success, we are looking for donations of a few simple materials:

• Empty Cardboard Toilet Paper Rolls

• Empty Cereal Boxes (any size/type)

Our goal is 300 toilet paper rolls and 80 ceral boxes by the middle of January.

Thank you in advance for any donations of these items and thank you for your support of our Innovation class!

Westview K-Kids, a school service organization, will be holding our annual toy drive to benefit CRS (Community Resource Services) from 11/17-12/5. If you are able to donate, we will be collecting NEW, UNWRAPPED toys each day for any age child. At the conclusion of our toy drive, CRS will receive our donation, making the holidays a little happier for families in our community.

Please consider signing up for the Westview PTA’s Cookie Walk for teachers and staff! This is a beloved holiday tradition at Westview. This year, we’re changing this up and spreading the holiday cheer out over the week instead of just one day. Thanks for your support!
