Greetings Parents and Stakeholders,

Testing is almost complete for E.J. Hayes. Thank you to the teachers, students, and stakeholders who contributed to making this testing season a success. We will be testing some more 3rd graders on Monday. Your child's teacher will be in touch with you if this applies to your child. If your child missed a test, they will complete a make up test on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday!

We will be having a fun day on Wednesday, June 8, 2022. Students should still wear dress code every day until the end of the year. We will be doing face painting, field games, Dancing, and have a dunking booth on that day. We are looking forward to the last few days of school and the beginning of a safe and relaxing summer. And once again thank you for choosing E.J. Hayes, where relationships foster learning.

The cafeteria will now offer two main entree dishes each day. Students will choose which main dish that they would like in the mornings during announcements.

June 6 chicken biscuit

- nacho, hot dogs, black eyes, green beans, mandarin, pineapple

June 7 cinnamon rolls

- chicken fajita, hamburger, black beans, glazed carrots, peaches, applesauce

June 8 poptart

- corn dogs, bbq on bun, corn, green peas, sliced apples, peaches

June 9 cereal, crunch mania, nutrigrain

- pizza, turkey and cheese, fries, baked beans, pears, apples

Revisions to the Student Dress Code (4303) were approved during the January 25, 2022 work session of the Martin County Schools Board of Education. Please note the revisions to the policy and keep in mind all students will be expected to adhere to the updated policy.
