Graduation Week! Graduation Week!

Dear Coupeville High School Families,

As we celebrate our graduating seniors this week, I am filled with pride for a truly extraordinary Class of 2025. This group of young people has shown us what it means to combine academic excellence with genuine heart and community spirit.

What makes this class special isn't just their impressive achievements—though we certainly celebrate their state showings in softball, volleyball, and track. What sets them apart is their character. These students have consistently demonstrated kindness, compassion, and a commitment to lifting each other up. They've created a culture where everyone belongs and everyone matters.

Even their class pranks reflected their generous spirits—turning our parking lot into a playground of games and joy, and bringing celebration right into our commons with their creative wedding ceremony. They've shown us that learning and laughter go hand in hand, and that the best memories are made when we come together as a community.

To our graduates: You've worked hard right up until this final moment, graduating with the pride you've earned. More importantly, you've shown us what's possible when students lead with kindness and support one another. Take that spirit with you wherever life leads.

To the families: Thank you for raising young people who care deeply about others. Your children have made Coupeville High School a better place simply by being themselves.

Congratulations to our remarkable Class of 2025. You are truly special, and we couldn't be prouder.

With admiration and best wishes,

Shannon Leatherwood, Superintendent
