2026 - 2027 Early Morning Care

Attached to the link is the Early Morning Care Interest Form for the 2026-2027 school year that allows families to hold their spot for the upcoming school year. Grade 2 Builds Their Financial Literacy

On May 12th, 13th and 14th, Rob Berkowicz from StonehamBank visited the grade 2 classrooms to provide a financial literacy lesson.The session focused on age-appropriate concepts (second grade standards around money) such as coins, saving, spending, and making responsible choices with money. Additionally, 2nd grade is currently teaching this module for math.

Student Council Cereal Drive

Ditson School Student Council is partnering with the Billerica Food Pantry for a Cereal Only Donation Drive from June 1st–June 12th. As summer approaches, many children who receive meals at school will be home more often, and the food pantry is working to help meet the needs of families within our community. This year, the pantry’s goal is to collect 900+ boxes of cereal. We would greatly appreciate your support in encouraging your students and families to participate in this important community service project.

Fun Run

We are so grateful to our DSA who ran a wonderful Fun run for our students! Thank you so much for all you do for our students, staff and the Ditson Community

Fun Run - Thank you to everyone who contributed! We raised over $63k and there's still time to donate. Fundraising closes Thursday - students who donate between the Fun Run and this Thursday will be in a raffle for more great prizes, including passes to Davis Farmland!

Family Picnic - May 29 - 5:30pm in front of the school. Music, Games, Food and Fun! Pack up your own picnic basket at home, pick something up along the way, or grab some delicious bites from our local vendors.

4th Grade Celebration - June 12 - Music, pizza and snacks, yearbook signing, and lots of fun!

Field Day - June 18 - Our biggest in-school event for all of our students! Students spend the day playing games inside and outside to celebrate the end of another amazing school year. We need parents/caregivers to help supervise and run games and activities.
