It’s HOMECOMING WEEK at Temple University! We can’t wait to see so many alums and families back on campus, and we invite you to our football game against Tulsa on Saturday afternoon at Lincoln Financial Field.

We are also excited to induct the Temple Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2024 on Friday at Liacouras Center. The 10-member class features top coaches, administrators and student-athletes who won championships, earned All-America honors and, most importantly, paved the way for the current and future generation of Owls.

And finally, a very special THANK YOU to Temple University President Dr. Richard Englert and his wife, Ellie, for their commitment and leadership. Our athletic department is so grateful for you stepping back into the arena when you got the call to return to serve again, and we look forward to seeing you at plenty of athletic events in the future!

Join us for another fun-filled Homecoming & Family Weekend that started Monday and runs through Sunday, Oct. 20, 2024. Tickets for the football game against Tulsa on Saturday, Oct. 19 are available now by calling 215-204-TIXX or by visiting owlsports.com/tickets. REGISTER NOW for Homecoming week activites.

On October 6, Temple Athletics took held a special Temple Takeover event at the Elmwood Park Zoo. It was great day for our coaches and student-athletes to interact, sign autographs, and get everyone excited for the upcoming basketball seasons! Can’t wait to see everyone at Liacouras Center for the season-opening doubleheader on November 4!

Temple’s new director of tennis Jeff Brandes and his two teams took to the newly-opening tennis complex that will serve as the new home for Owls’ men’s and women’s tennis. The project features seven tennis courts with bleacher seating for fans to watch the teams perform.

Temple head basketball coaches Diane Richardson and Adam Fisher were joined by two student-athletes from each of their respective teams for American Athletic Conference Media Day in Dallas on Monday. The women’s team, represented by Richardson, senior Tiarra East and graduate student Tarriyonna Gary, look to build on a 2023-24 season that saw the team win 20 games and a share of the AAC regular-season title. Shane Dezonie and Steve Settle III were on hand to promote the men’s team that advanced to the AAC Tournament title game a season ago.

Beginning with this football season, the Temple Sports Radio Network has transitioned to a new, easily accessible platform at owlsports.com/listen.
