Madonna Catholic School News

Dear Madonna Families,

Thank you to all of our families for your support this week. We appreciate everyone who attended our school interviews and the Grade One family workshop. It was wonderful to see so many of you connecting with staff and joining your children in their learning. We also want to thank those who were able to attend our Remembrance Day service led by 2L. Your presence and support continue to strengthen our school community.

As we head into Fall Break next week, we hope your family has the opportunity to rest, spend time together, and enjoy the slower pace. We look forward to welcoming our students back on Monday, November 17. Please see the letter below from our EICS Superintendant regarding some calendar adjustments coming up.

Blessings,

Mrs. Cathy Hinger, Principal

Mrs. Fiona Wimmer, Assistant Principal

The Pre-K classes are having fun learning all about pumpkins for this month’s theme!

All of our Madonna grade one classes welcomed an in-school fieldtrip presenter to work with them this week. The students were busy making a Monkey enclosure. This allowed them to practice their measuring skills and reinforced the five senses. Thank you to the parents who came to support 1B, 1M and 1SW we truly appreciate the extra set of hands!!

Ms Verhun's Grade 3 Cogito class had a lot of fun wearing pajamas and holding their special stuffies all day on Wednesday.
