A Reminder About Traffic Safety and Respecting Bike Lanes
We would like to remind all families to please respect the designated bike lanes during drop-off and pick-up times. These lanes are in place to ensure the safety of everyone in our school community — including our crossing guard, students who are walking or biking, and our neighbors who rely on the bike lane for safe travel.
Parking in the bike lane, even for a short time, creates unsafe conditions and forces cyclists and pedestrians into traffic. If you need to park in the neighborhood, please do so legally and safely, and be mindful of posted speed limits at all times.
Above all, we ask everyone to show respect for one another and to follow all traffic laws. Working together, we can help keep our students, staff, and neighbors safe.
Thank you for your cooperation and partnership in keeping our community safe.
6th Grade Dance
On Friday, our 6th graders celebrated their very first school dance, and what a blast they had! From the music to the laughter and nonstop energy on the dance floor, it was an evening full of smiles and memories that will last a lifetime.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the night so special for our students. To see more pictures, visit our Facebook page.
Student Council at The Mounatin Center
The Student Council recently had the opportunity to visit the Mountain Center, where they worked alongside staff to strengthen their leadership and teamwork skills. Throughout the experience, students explored their individual leadership styles and learned how to collaborate effectively as a team.
They practiced using their voices confidently while also creating space for others to be heard. Students focused on supporting one another, building trust, and understanding the importance of working together toward common goals.
One of the highlights of the day was watching them demonstrate incredible bravery and encouragement as they climbed the tall rock wall. They cheered each other on, celebrated successes, and helped push one another beyond their comfort zones. They also worked together to keep the table balanced during a team challenge, showing patience, communication, and true cooperation.
It was truly amazing to see them engaged, encouraging each other, and growing as leaders. Experiences like this not only build strong teams but also empower students to lead with confidence, courage, and compassion.
