December is full of learning, activities, and lots of memories being made! Be sure to read the Stampede for all of the dates, times, details, and attire!

There have been many students brining their elves to school. This has been causing a distraction to the learning environment. We ask that all elves stay home where they are safe and sound! If a student brings their elf to school, they will be asked to keep it in their backpack. At Stewart, we have a school elf that our students enjoy finding each day!

Hoodie weather is officially here. Be sure to write your child's name in all hoodies and coats. We receive lots of items in our lost and found. All items that are labeled with a student name are returned to the student.

School attendance directly correlates to student success! Please make every effort to have your child at school each day, on time, and for the full duration of the school day. Instruction begins at 7:55 a.m. If your student is not inside the building by 7:55 a.m., please park, walk your child inside, and sign your child in for the day. Please do not drop your child off in front of the school after 7:55 a.m. as this is a safety concern. As a friendly reminder, students must be present at least 90% of the school year. Missed instructional minutes due to tardies or early dismissals add up to missed instructional days. Our instructional day goes goes from 7:55 a.m. to 3:10 p.m. Please see our attendance policy linked as a button at the bottom of this newsletter for more information. December 18th: Grinch Day: Wear Grinch Attire of Green, 10:00 5th Grade Party, 12:00 2nd Grade Party, 1:00 Kindergarten Party, 3:30 5th/6th Grade Choir Party

December 19th: Polar Express Day: Wear Pajamas, 8:00 Student Sing Along, Early Release, 9:00 1st and 4th Grade Parties, 10:00 3rd and 6th Grade Parties
