Campus Parent - Absence Request

Dear APS Parents/Caregivers,

Austin Public Schools is excited to announce the launch of the Infinite Campus Workflow Suite, bringing greater convenience and accessibility to families across the district. Beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, parents and guardians will have 24/7 online access to submit attendance requests directly through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal.

This new feature is part of the district’s ongoing commitment to improving communication and simplifying processes for families. With the Workflow Suite, parents can now notify schools of student absences, early dismissals, and late arrivals anytime, anywhere, without needing to call the office or send written notes.

"We are always looking for ways to make school-home communication more efficient and user-friendly," said Dr. Joey Page, Superintendent of Austin Public Schools. "The Infinite Campus Workflow Suite gives parents the flexibility to manage attendance in a way that fits their busy lives."

Parents will continue to receive timely updates and confirmations through the Parent Portal, ensuring transparency and peace of mind.
