Here's what's happening at East Meadows....

Dear Parents,

I can't believe this is the last newsletter of the year! The next two weeks will be action packed as we head toward the last day of school which will be a half day on Thursday, May 22nd. School will dismiss at noon and summer will begin!

We are blown away by all the reading students did in April and can't wait to see if we won the Spanish Fork City Rodeo Reading Challenge. Keep your fingers crossed, results will be coming by the end of the week. Many thanks to Mrs. Haskell and her team for all their hard work and the many fun events that kept students motivated and reading every day.

Read on for information about our school fundraising event, Kindergarten and 5th Grade graduation, summer programs for kids and MORE. Most importantly, have a GREAT summer! Encourage your kids to keep reading, keep learning, stay engaged, get out in the sunshine and to enjoy time with friends and family.

We LOVE our East Meadows school community! Thanks for your support this year. It means the world to all of us!

Gallop & Give To Support East Meadows

For the first time in several years, we are holding a school-wide fundraising event. All funds collected will go directly to programs and items for students as we prepare for next school year. Rather than asking you to buy cookie dough, wrapping paper or to sponser a student in a fun run, we decided to just extend an invitation to our school community to donate any amount you feel you can to help out the school. Please share this with grandparents, family members or anyone who may be interested in supporting our school.

See the flyer below for exact details on how funds will be spent. The fundraising will take place now through May 18th.

Your child will be bringing home an envelope and you can send money back to the school or donate online using the QR code provided. We ask that all students return their envelope even if you aren't able to donate at this time. We have a prize for the class who brings back the highest percentage of envelopes.

THANK YOU FOR SUPPORTING OUR SCHOOL!

Please Note: All money from other fundraisers and spirit nights this year have gone directly to the Parent Teacher Association (PTA). This will be the first fundraiser organized by East Meadows School. If you have any questions about fundraising or how funds are collected and spent, don't hesitate to reach out. We are happy to answer any questions you may have.
