π¬ A Note from Mr. Zach DeVito
Good Afternoon Jaguar Nation!
We had a very busy week at Jones Middle School. On Monday, we welcomed prospective families to campus for a parent tour led by four of our outstanding Claw Crew members. These students did an excellent job representing Jones Middle School and highlighting what makes our campus such a special place to learn. Additionally, our Theatre Productions team participated in a workshop in preparation for their upcoming UIL competition, our wrestling team competed in a meet, and our basketball teams faced Reynolds Middle School.
Our National Junior Honor Society has also begun offering morning tutorials on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. This is a valuable opportunity for students to receive academic support in any subject from NJHS peer tutors before the school day begins. We encourage students to take advantage of this support in the Jaguar Nation area on our campus.
As we look ahead, we are sharing important information regarding course selection for next school year, along with flyers for cheer, dance, and high school informational opportunities, including interest meetings scheduled for February. High school course selection is going on now, and we will begin middle school course selection next month. We recognize that our students will attend a variety of campuses next year, including Jones, Rogers, Bridges, Rock Hill, and Walnut Grove. This newsletter will continue to serve as a one-stop source of information for all of our students, keeping families informed about opportunities this year and beyond.
Have a great three day weekend! Go Jags!
