Saint of the Month
Living Like the Saints
This Friday and weekend are our monthly Mission Days. In September, we are supporting the Catholic Charities' Domestic Violence Shelter. The work we are doing is a powerful way to put our faith into action. St. John of the Cross taught that as we grow closer to God, our hearts should reflect his charitable nature. By supporting those who offer a safe place, healing, and hope to those in crisis, we are practicing the kind of deep, selfless love that is essential to our spiritual journey. In serving those in need, we are serving Christ himself, bringing us closer to the heart of God.

We Learn
PBIS
In September and October, our PBIS school-wide lesson will focus on personal space. Lessons will be taught to all students in grades kindergarten through 8th grade. Teachers and staff have noticed more students displaying physical touch in the hallways and on the playground, so these lessons will help students practice respecting each other’s personal space in different settings.
To reinforce this at home, parents can:
- Model appropriate personal space during family interactions.
- Use clear language to remind children about their “personal bubble.”
- Praise their child when they respect others’ personal space.
- Role-play different social situations where personal space matters (e.g., standing in line, greeting a friend, playing on the playground, sitting at the dinner table).
