PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

What a final full week we have had! 5th grade had their end of year field trip where they did a walking history tour of downtown Bath and had lunch at Library Park. Huge thank you to our special surprise quests, Tony Dancer and Legendairy Ice Cream Truck! The winners of this month’s challenge took a field trip to Bath Tech and enjoyed hands-on experience in the programs. Students, FMS staff and Bath Tech Instructors all. We had a great field day and fun End of Year Celebration with the PTA. To wrap up theyear this week we had a fun assembly and a heartfelt clap out to our 5th Grade. -Ross

ONE FINAL NOTE FROM ROSS ONE FINAL NOTE FROM ROSS

Now that it’s over it’s time to reflect.

You’ve stretched out your thinking, you’ve really come alive!

You’ve read and you’ve written, you’ve multiplied too,

You’ve solved tricky problems and tried something new!

Field trips took learning beyond the classroom.

You asked thoughtful questions, you looked with wide eyes,

Each month brought a challenge—we called you to rise,

To lead with your hearts and grow kind and wise.

You built up your teamwork, you gave things your best,

You showed us that learning can outshine the rest!

At recess, oh yes, you played games with great flair—

From soccer to tag to just breathing fresh air.

You ran and you laughed, played fair and stood tall,

You made every moment count, big or small.

You’ve written up stories and studied the past,

You’ve picked up new skills that are sure to last.

So now it’s time for some summer-day fun,

With reading and dreaming and long days in the sun.

Keep asking good questions, stay curious and clever—

Because learning and growing don’t stop. Not ever!

We’re so proud of you all for the hard work you’ve shown,

You’ve grown so much more than you’ve ever known.

Rest up, have fun, and when summer is through—

We’ll be here, excited, to learn more with you!

With pride and belief in all you can do,

Ross

BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM

Help Your Child Shine! Match Your Child With a High School Mentor! As a caregiver, you want the very best for your child: confidence, connection, and the tools to succeed. That's exactly what the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bigs & Littles after school program is all about! We provide children with strong, enduring, one-to-one relationships that are professionally supported by staff. In this unique mentoring program, your child (as a "Little") will be paired with a carefully selected high school student "Big" who's not just a mentor — but a friend, a listener, and a positive role model. Through weekly meetups, your child can gain confidence in social settings, encouragement from their peers and mentor, and support navigating challenges, setting goals, and celebrating their achievements. Steps to Enroll a Child: Complete the online application (link: www.bbbsbathbrunswick.org/enroll-a-child) or ask your school counselor for a paper copy! BBBS Staff will set up an interview with your child (Little) at their school. When we find the perfect Big, BBBS Staff will preview the Big to caregivers for approval. If approved, the match will begin meeting weekly after school. BBBS Staff will talk monthly with the match, and caregivers to ensure it's going well!
