It was such a joy to see so many GRE families at our Arts Night this past Thursday! From the immersive space-themed glow room to the wonderful musical performances, our students' creativity and talent was truly remarkable. Thank you for coming out to celebrate our young artists!

A huge thank you to the volunteers who lent a hand with everything from the initial setup to the final cleanup. We couldn’t have brought this night to life without your hard work behind the scenes!

Our Valentine’s Day celebrations were an absolute blast! We are very appreciative of our incredible school community for making it all possible. From the parents who spent their time volunteering to the families who sent in donations and the room parents who planned every detail—Thank you!

We are excited to announce that we will have visiting author, Kate Messner, visiting Glacier Ridge on March 17, 2026!

In collaboration with Cover to Cover, we are offering several different books by Kate Messner for pre-purchase. Books purchased will be shipped to Glacier Ridge and students will receive their orders on March 17.

Each student purchasing a book will have a meet and greet opportunity with Ms. Messner as she signs and personalizes their book!!

Nationwide Children's Hospital Community Service Project

5th grade girl scout troop 7188 wants to help kids at Nationwide Children's Hospital! This is a combined community service effort at Bishop and Glacier Ridge Elementary. We are making care packages. Please consider donating to make someone smile! All donations will be sent through our Amazon registry. No in person donations required. Donations accepted through 2/20/26.

Long Weekend Coming Up! No School February 13 or 16

There is no school February 13 or 16 due to a Professional Development Day on Friday and President’s Day on Monday.

Upload Absence Documentation via Campus Parent Portal

Dublin City Schools families now have a new, convenient option for submitting absence documentation through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. Receive a medical note after reporting your child’s absence? Instead of sending a paper copy or a separate email, simply log in and upload it directly to the existing request.

After logging in, select More and then Absence Request. Click View Requests, locate the prior absence in the list, and open it. From there, select Upload Document and choose your file.

Using this feature saves paper, eliminates an extra trip to the office and reduces additional emails to attendance secretaries. It is a small step that helps streamline processes across Dublin City Schools. We appreciate families taking advantage of this new option to support efficient, timely communication.

Do you own a business and want to connect with students?

The Work in Dublin Student Job Fair is March 20. Once again this year Dublin City Schools is partnering with the Dublin Chamber of Commerce to present the Work In Dublin Student Job Fair. We are looking to connect as many students and businesses as possible. Families with a business looking to hire students can register their business for the event until February 27.

Pop In Food Pantry

The Dublin Food Pantry is holding a “Pop In” Pantry on Thursday, February 19, from 4-5:30 p.m., at the Dublin Food Pantry, 6608 Dublin Center Dr. Dublin OH 43017. We will be serving a variety of fruits and vegetables free of charge. We will also have dry goods available. No formal registration is required. This event is a partnership among the Dublin Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Clinic, Dublin City Schools, and the Dublin Food Pantry.

School Resource Officer Appreciation Day is Sunday, Feb. 15. These are the incredible members of the Dublin Police Department assigned to Dublin City Schools, focusing on safety, crime prevention and fostering positive relationships with students and staff.
