A Message from Dr. Nadjarian

Dear Families,

Thank you to all who attended our first State of the School Address this past Tuesday night. It was a celebration of our successes as our team was able to share updates regarding academics, mission and faith, enrollment, development, finances, capital improvements, and looking ahead to the next 125 years in education. It was wonderful to see families from many grade levels, from infant through to middle school!

I encourage you to get your tickets for our fundraiser: Pub Trivia Night on May 2nd. There will be childcare available at the school for St. Mary’s students, and it promises to be a fun-filled evening with ‘80s music, trivia, a silent auction, and delicious food. News from Nurse Catherine

Seasonal allergies: I’m seeing many students with seasonal allergy symptoms. Symptoms Of seasonal allergies include red itchy watery eyes, sneezing, coughing, and runny nose. You can reach out to your child’s PCP for guidance about how best to treat seasonal allergies. Medication should be given before school for the best results. The non-drowsy type is best for the school day. Zyrtec or Claritin work well.

Basketball Banquet

On Friday, St. Mary's girls and boys basketball teams joined with their families and coaches for a banquet in honor of their accomplishments this season. It was so special to have both teams come together with their families to celebrate the hard work they put in. Dr. Nadjarian spoke about the students’ and parents’ commitments to the sport and to their teams, as they worked hard at practice twice a week and attended games on the weekend. They also arrived early and stayed late to cheer each other on. The coaches spoke about the trust and confidence they saw the students have in each other as well as the effort they put into learning and practicing new skills and making huge improvements and reaching goals throughout the basketball season. A special congratulations to our girls team on an undefeated season! We are so proud of our student athletes!
